(UPDATE) REVEALED: MASSGOP SECRET SIGNED FUNDRAISING AGREEMENT WITH U.S. SENATE CANDIDATE IN FEBRUARY

NOTE BETWEEN PRINTED EDITIONS

UPDATE:   So, since this article posted, candidate Robert Antonellis did a full search of his e-mails, was unable to find anything to do with a fundraising agreement offer, so he reached out to the MassGOP and asked.

The response: well, Mr. Antonellis in his own words:
“They did ask, but it was hidden, buried , under an email about a $3,800 charge for the rent.

I never heard of JFA, and would have jumped at the chance to have a joint relationship for events, and use of the Mass GOP database to drive traffic.

So, it feels like something was going on here, un toward at best.”

So, for Deaton, he picked up paying approx. $3,800 for the lease of MassGOP offices in Woburn, and he signed on this special agreement which was not scheduled to be announced to the public until six months after its signing, which puts  the MASSGOP – DEATON, DEATON – MASSGOP message out there 12 days prior to the primary.  Hmm. Coincidence?

Several state committee members were surprised to hear an agreement was made for shared fundraising with one candidate. And, again, IF he knew what a JFA was, Antonellis would have “jumped at the chance.”

From the original MassGOP e-mail, and no contact on the matter since that time (until we posted it here), Antonellis related that no contact/mention, etc. was made about joint fundraising. IF the MassGOP really wanted to work with him, you would think some type of follow-up, a second e-mail, a phone call, might be in order. NOT an announcement scheduled for a MassGOP meeting to take place 12 days before the PRIMARY election…MASSGOP – DEATON, DEATON – MASSGOP – ANTI-TRUMPER DEATON, MASSGOP, MASSGOP – ANTI-TRUMPER DEATON.

SPECIAL COMMENTARY

Call this simply an alert to readers.

Apparently according to documents released by the MassGOP on Aug. 12, 2024, MassGOP Chair Amy Carnevale had entered into a previously undisclosed mutual fundraising agreement with anti-Trump candidate John Deaton – the richie-rich candidate.

The existence of the agreement was made public earlier this evening at a candidate’s forum held by the the Sandwich, Bourne, and Falmouth, Republican Town Committees along with Cape Cod Concerned Citizens. Candidate Robert Antonellis noted the existence of the document package, some of which we have posted below.

The secret document was signed in February of this year, while all candidates were still seeking signatures to get onto the ballot. This issue is slated to be discussed as an agenda item at the upcoming MassGOP State Committee Meeting to be held on Thursday, August 22nd at 6:30 pm at the Kowloon Restaurant, 948 Broadway, in Saugus.  (Republican Rep. Don Wong’s family has ownership in the business.)

Such an agreement was shortly followed up with the millionaire anti-Trump carpetbagger attorney from R.I. (Deaton’s assumption of payments on the MassGOP office – sub-lease.

So, MassGOP Chair Amy Carnevale signed a Joint Fundraising Agreement Deaton who is an anti-Trump candidate who wrote that Trump has the mind of a 4-year-old, issued “mean tweets,” and has stated live on the JEFF KUHNER WRKO and ED LAMBERT WXTK radio shows that he would NOT support Trump.

Why did Carnevale wait almost six months to disclose this agreement to the MassGOP State Committee – the governing board of the Republican Party in Massachusetts?

In a debate streamed by WRKO, Deaton went further, attacking Trump and stating that he will not vote for Trump, nor any candidate for president.

Deaton, with mass mailings, and TV ads, is expected to handily win (purchase) the Republican primary on Sept. 3rd for U.S. Senate.

The previously secret agreement was announced on August. 12, 2024 by MassGOP Executive Directory John Milligan in an e-mail to an unknown number of members of the MassGOP State Committee (governing board). Apparently lifelong Democrat activist and anti-Trumper Ian Cain was offered a similar agreement in April a couple of weeks after entering the race. Trump-supporting candidate Robert Antonellis confirmed that he was never offered nor pursued to enter any agreement for fundraising with the MassGOP.

  1. Deaton has a number of interviews out there. I have several posted on walpolegopclub.org. I was stunned to hear Deaton and his comments about Trump.

Deaton is a trial lawyer, ambulance chaser, Democrat, who has made millions on chasing mesothelioma patients. Not all mesothelioma patients but patients who worked for companies with deep pockets. Companies he could make millions from.

No wonder the Massachusetts Republican Party is so useless. Backing Trump hating candidates? What is the sense of belonging to this party if we don’t back our standard bearer, a man who already proved himself in the four years he was president.
