Request for Rep. Flanagan Police Report Denied
The police investigation into a matter concerning State Representative Chris Flanagan, 1st Barnstable district, continues, but the public will remain in the dark.
A letter dated October 23, from Officer Nicholas Giammarco of the Yarmouth Police Department was received by the Boston Broadside. It stated that the department is not releasing information on the matter at this time because any information released would negatively affect the investigation of Flanagan.
On October 22, the Boston Broadside contacted Flanagan about an investigation that involved him. Flanagan denied any knowledge of an investigation and declined the opportunity to include a comment in a Broadside article.
