STATE OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY
ON CAPE COD
FROM THE ED LAMBERT SHOW RECENT BROADCAST:
ED: “Talking about the Republican Party on the Cape: One of our listeners said, ‘Ed … let’s look at what happened since Judy and Will Crocker have taken over the leadership of the party here on the Cape. There’s one Republican victory that I can think of where Steven Xiahos has replaced Randy Hunt when Randy left. The rest were losses, and the list includes:
- REPUBLICAN Barnstable Town Councilor John Flores– replaced by a DEMOCRAT
- REPUBLICAN Barnstable Town Councilor Phil Wallace– replaced by a DEMOCRAT
- REPUBLICAN Barnstable Town Councilor Eric Steinhilber – replaced by a DEMOCRAT
We had two excellent Republicans running last November: Toby Leary and Paul Cage. But instead of being here working for Republicans, Judy was off-Cape working for Peter Durant!
- REPUBLICAN Sheriff Jim Cummings – replaced by a DEMOCRAT
- REPUBLICAN District Attorney Michael O’Keefe – replaced by a DEMOCRAT
- REPUBLICAN State Rep. Tim Whalen, ran for sheriff– replaced by a DEMOCRAT
That’s just a short list of Republicans who have lost under Judy and Will Crocker.
- REPUBLICAN Rep. Will Crocker – replaced by a DEMOCRAT (he was replaced by an then unknown Democrat, Kip Diggs!) Judy and Will – with Charlie Baker’s support – couldn’t get Will reelected in his own hometown where he was born and raised!
- Republicans wouldn’t support Jay McMahon in any of his races because of his connection with Trump.
- Republicans wouldn’t support Geoff Diehl in any of his races because of association with Trump.
If Republicans ever want to have representation on the Cape, they must vote out Judy and Will on March 5th. A lot of people don’t even realize that they were elected by the people.’
ED: “Well, it’s an interesting analysis of what took place. As a matter of fact, one of the things that the people had asked for was an exchange between Judy Crocker and me going back before the elections, before the November of elections last year … it’s on our website now if you want to hear it or re-hear what I have since called Political Blackmail that’s going on. That was going on, and probably it may still be going on to a degree with the Republicans here on Cape and Off Cape too.
[Audio is of Judy admitting they – Republicans in office and her – will not openly endorse/support Republicans running for office against sitting Democrats. They will ‘work behind the scenes.’ They call it the unwritten rule. Ed called it the deal with the devil.]
