Statehouse Rally Wed. June 1 Against Bathroom Bill

Massachusetts Family Institute (www.mafamily.org) is holding a rally at the State House again this Wednesday, June 1st.

Last week, MFI had almost 200 people fill the Grand Staircase at the Statehouse to make the case for the privacy of our children and the religious liberties of our places of worship.  Check out speeches made at the rally here:

For more information on the rally this Wednesday, June 1st, read further below in this email. (There is a bus leaving from Fellowship Bible Church (71 Center Street in Burlington) at 11:30 am.  If you want to ride on that bus, text me at (978) 204-9131.  Seats are filling up and we need to know if we should rent 2 buses.  We should be back at Fellowship Bible Church by 5:00 at the latest.

Many of you know that MFI has put out a new curriculum, specifically for churches to use to better inform people about the social issues we face today AND their implications for our schools, churches, and families.  It is called ENGAGE.  There are already 16 churches signed up to teach the curriculum in a Sunday School, small group, or mid-week class setting.  We hope to get 10 more churches on board by the end of June.  Please contact me if you are interested and I’ll send you a pdf version of the curriculum for your review.  You can find out more information here:  http://www.mafamily.org/engage/

In addition, we wanted to send out a write up from Andrew Beckwith, President of MFI, about the implications of this current bill.  As an attorney by trade, Andrew has an informed understanding of both the law and its implications.  This raises the importance of our peaceful stand against such laws to protect our religious liberty and the privacy of our children in bathrooms.
