She wants to invoke 25th Amendment to remove Trump
By Jeffrey T. Kuhner
Sen. Elizabeth Warren has just jumped the shark. The Massachusetts leftist says it’s time to use the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office—regardless of the consequences.
The reason for her stunning outburst is The New York Times’ decision to publish an anonymous Op-Ed by an alleged “senior” Trump administration official, who claims there are numerous top officials throughout the government seeking to thwart Trump’s presidency and agenda. This anti-Trump cabal allegedly believe he is too unhinged, too volatile and too dangerous to remain as commander-in-chief. Hence, they have joined the so-called “Resistance” to sabotage him, and eventually bring him down.
“If senior administration officials think the president of the United States is not able to do his job, then they should invoke the 25th Amendment,” Warren told CNN. “The Constitution provides for a procedure whenever the vice president and senior officials think the president can’t do his job. It does not provide that senior officials go around the President—take documents off his desk, write anonymous op-eds … Everyone of these officials have sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States. It’s time for them to do their job.”
Warren’s comments are not just extremely reckless and irresponsible. They are crazy. And it shows how dangerously radical—and unhinged—the Democratic Party has become.
First, there is no evidence that such a cabal exists. It is the word of an anonymous official, who could even be a creation of The New York Times in order to wage psychological warfare against Trump. The goal: To sow division, mistrust and paranoia between Trump and his inner circle. Furthermore, even if the anonymous official is real, there is no evidence behind his accusations. In short, there is no proof that Trump is a psychologically unstable, warmongering and destructive whack job. This may be the claims of one anti-Trump official or Bob Woodward in his latest book, Fear, which relies almost exclusively on anonymous (and dubious) sources.
In fact, the opposite is true: Based on his job performance, Trump has revealed himself to be anything but unstable. The economy is booming; unemployment is at a record low; economic growth in the second quarter was over 4 percent; ISIS has been smashed; the disastrous Iran deal has been repealed; our military is being rebuilt; NAFTA is being successfully renegotiated; over three million (most of them high-paying and full-time) jobs have been created; working-class wages are rising; our borders are slowly being secured; and manufacturing is roaring back. If Trump is some kind of a lunatic, then America needs many more like him.
Think about it: Warren wants to remove a sitting president on the basis of one Op-Ed and one book by an establishment hack. Throughout U.S. history, only two presidents have ever been impeached (and none of them convicted). Never—and I mean never—has a president been removed from office based on the 25th Amendment. Even Cabinet members have not been forced out through the use of this constitutional tool. For Warren, it is a political stunt to appeal to her radical left-wing base.
“Warren has proven she is more interested in political divisiveness than getting anything done for Massachusetts,” said Warren’s Senate opponent, Republican candidate Geoff Diehl. “Anonymous whispers don’t qualify for removing a sitting president.”
Diehl is right. Yet, Warren has now shown she is the most extreme member in Congress—the most rabid anti-Trumper. Impeachment is one thing; it demands that the process first go through the House and then the Senate to convict. In other words, our elected representatives are responsible for ousting a president. Warren is calling for something different—and much more ominous: a political coup. She is demanding that a cabal forcibly overthrow Trump from office and reverse the 2016 election. She wants to overturn democracy itself.
If implemented, Warren’s actions would not only trigger a constitutional and political crisis, which would threaten to tear America apart. It would also risk sparking a potential civil war. Trump supporters would never accept the removal of the president by invoking the 25th Amendment. They would rightly view it as an effort by our political elites to take away their vote and their voice. It would lead to massive street protests, social chaos and inevitable violence. That a sitting U.S. senator could even contemplate something like this, never mind advocate it, is beyond shocking and reprehensible. It is almost criminal.
Warren is either a shameless demagogue or she is guilty of the very thing she is accusing Trump of—being unhinged. She has no business being in the Senate. There is no walking this back. Warren may have just lost the election.

These are very scary times. The Democratic Party, once the party of the working class, is now left of the Socialist Workers Party. Here in the Boston area a lady was elected to Congress on Tuesday who just about would make a Socialist Workers Party candidate look like a conservative. Her district was created a few years back in what could only be described as modern day gerrymandering. The Democratic Party divides us by ethnicity, gender, language, skin color etc. We have a looney U.S. Senator who is a WASP who told us she was Cherokee. She told us she was working class but is a millionaire. Thank Scott Brown for turning his back on supporters for her success. Thank the “concerned” citizens who rarely if ever vote but complain. 30 or 40 years ago Trump would be a moderate Democrat. He was a Democrat until 2012. He wants good jobs and a strong nation just like JFK or LBJ did. Today the Democratic Party seeks division, hate and censorship for those who show patriotism. I’m still a registered Democrat and am ashamed of my party.
Elizabeth Warren stands as a monument to the ignorance of the liberal left. She has accomplished nothing at all for the citizens of Massachusetts. She rather spends all her time positioning herself to run for president. She is typical of the delusional elitist of her generation. While I doubt she’ll get the party’s nomination, I would love to see her debate Donald Trump. I think that would be a fight the ref would have to stop to save her.
