40 DAYS FOR LIFE RESUMES
CAMPAIGN IN BOSTON
The largest grass roots pro-life organization in the world, 40 Days for Life, will begin an historic campaign in 612 cities around the globe next week, starting on Wednesday, September 22nd, and continuing through Sunday, October 31st.
Like its elder sister, Operation Rescue, 40 Days For Life provides two ministries of service, of inestimable value, to the cause of the unborn. It presents a prayerful pro-life witness in front of the industrialized killing centers where innocent children are destroyed, and through sidewalk counseling, it offers compassionate alternatives to abortion to women approaching the death chambers.
The heroic efforts of its participants have saved the lives of more than 19,000 babies worldwide.
The Prayer Launch for the Boston Campaign is on Saturday, September 18th, at Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Norwood. Mass will be at 6 pm, followed by remarks from the North American Campaign Director, Steve Karlen, at 7 pm.
The Kick Off for the Boston Campaign will be on Wednesday, September 22nd, at 2 pm on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood of Greater Boston, at 1055 Commonwealth Avenue in Allston.
Those wishing to join in prayer vigils may do so by signing on at www.40daysforlife.com/boston.
Pope Saint John Paul II once described the efforts of the pro-life movement as “the most important work on earth.”
Please support this vital campaign! The lives of the innocent are at stake!
Thank you.
