THIS LETTER WAS SENT TO REPUBLICAN STATE COMMITTEEMAN FRAN MANZELLI

Dear Fran:
RE: Your Recent Letter and Invitation
First, I hope this messsge finds you well.
Second, thank you for your recent letter and kind invitation to your January 16th re-election kickoff event for Cape & Islands Republican State Committeeman, which I received in the mail yesterday.
Unfortunately, I cannot attend your event because of a previously scheduled engagement. Additionally, I am supporting Adam Lange for Republican State Committeeman as well.
Other than that, I feel compelled to point out a few glaring falsehoods contained within the content of your letter.
Your letter begins by stating, “Four years ago, you supported my campaign to grow and support GOP politics on Cape Cod.”
Actually, in 2016, I ran against you, sir.
You then go onto make the untrue claim that “We have had so many candidates win seats and incumbent Republicans KEEP their seats these past election cycles and we have more to win!”
Well, the fact that you helped cause the loss of an incumbent GOP seat on the Board of Barnstable County Commissioners (Leo Cakounes) in 2018, then the loss of two incumbent Barnstable Town Council seats held by Republicans in 2019 (including your close friend John Flores, and Phil Wallace) does not bode well for the veracity of that claim either.
Additionally, two Republican Town Committees in Truro and Wellfleet were allowed to go defunct because of your lack of support and foresight.
Moreover, the radical socialist and creeping ultra-liberal political influence of State Senator Julian Cyr and his cult of crackpot disciples has had little if any pushback from your sphere of influence as well.
Furthermore, according to the Secretary of State’s Office, during your tenure as Cape and Islands Republican State Committeeman, thousands of voters have fled the Republican Party on Cape Cod.
This is not “growing and supporting” the GOP sir, it is depopulating and devastating it on a local basis.
The gross misrepresentations in your letter, Fran, are not only outrageous, they speak to the monumental incompetence that has been the hallmark of your reign in office.
It is time for new vision, new ideas, a rejuvenation of energy, and a new person in the seat you now occupy.
Again, thank you for your letter and kind invitation. It was certainly appreciated.
Best regards,
RON BEATY
