CANDIDATE ANNOUNCEMENT
Aaron Packard, of Fitchburg, Will Run for Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2026
In a statement given to the Broadside, Packard said, “I am a former Worcester/Middlesex district Republican State Committeeman, candidate for U.S. Senate, and an alternate MAGA delegate at the 2024 Republican National Convention. I am a Constitutional Patriot, a common-sense conservative, and by the Grace of God a native born and raised son of Massachusetts. I am a direct descendant of Minutemen that answered the Lexington Alarm to fight against tyranny.
Too long has our State been a revolving door of carpet-bagging political hacks that have been installed or erroneously voted on by misinformed followers. These conveyor-belt politicians, whether Democrat or Republican, have deemed themselves educated and expert enough to be qualified ‘leaders’ only to leave us in civil and financial despair for their own personal gain of power.
Here we are now in the year 2025, and Massachusetts has become the matching socialist bookend of this country when 250 years ago we were the direct catalyst for Truth, Justice, and Freedom under God, setting up the greatest country in the world.
When morally principled people are in the daily operations of government, then governance is done correctly, as the founders envisioned. The best way to harness, reign in, and grow the moral people that is a government of, by, and for the People, is to have a duly elected leader that works for that people. A leader who is morally sound and involved with We the People. One who surrounds themselves with good council, leads by example, and is held accountable at every step. Growth is naturally painful, but it is essential if we, as a founding State, wish to survive.
That is why I am expressing my intent to run for Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As a Constitution Party conservative, I aim to be the catalyst in moving us BACK towards a sovereign, Constitutional, law-abiding state Governance. Beacon Hill is the hill of Freedom I shall give my life on. Maura the Horror must go!”
