Grand Opportunity USA’s Washington, DC National Launch of the Definitive Political Credit Rating System: The GOUSA Opportunity Score®
(Washington, DC) Grand Opportunity USA, or “GOUSA”, successfully kicked off the National Launch of its new Political Credit RatingTM system, the “GOUSA Opportunity Score®”, at Harriet’s in Washington, DC earlier this month on May 4th.
The message is simple: Either our elected officials in America are working FOR us and securing opportunity for a better life for ourselves, our families and communities – or they are working actively AGAINST us, eliminating opportunity and serving themselves, their pockets, their lobbyists, their major donors and special interests instead. We must hold our politicians firmly accountable based on their adherence to a core set of pro-Opportunity principles that the majority of Americans support.
Using this first-of-its-kind political credit rating system, anyone will be able to tell if their elected representatives are working for them – or against them. The criteria for the GOUSA Opportunity Score is based on GOUSA’s populist 5-points of Opportunity: Personal, Economic, Social, Educational, and National Opportunity. All 32 rating principles used to determine the scores have majority support among the American people, and as such the system reflects not a partisan, but a populist measure of a sitting representative’s – or candidate’s – political credit.

More than 3 out of 4 voters across America – from both parties, and independents – believe that their elected representatives are corrupt and unaccountable to the public they are supposed to serve. When every federal politician is rated and scored with the GOUSA Opportunity Score, this trend will ultimately come to an end. Bad politicians will be exposed and targeted for opposition and removal, and the (rare) good politicians will be championed and supported. The scores will be updated continuously based on their voting records, positions, interviews, public statements and social media posts, and will include challenging candidates. This will become the definitive Political Credit Score for all federal politicians in America, with the goal to expand to the state level in the future.
Grand Opportunity USA is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization founded in 2017 by John Paul Moran, a recent candidate for Congress in the Massachusetts 6th District, who has also spearheaded an election lawsuit vs. the Commonwealth of Mass with four other 2020 GOP candidates based on clear evidence of a violation of the state constitution by the Mass legislature when it passed a non-excuse mail-in voting and early voting law this past July.

The successful National Launch Event for the GOUSA Opportunity Score was held at Harriet’s in Washington, DC – just a block away from the Trump Hotel – on Tuesday, May 4th to a maximum capacity crowd, and received an overwhelmingly positive response. Michael Wojtaszek, events director for GOUSA, organized the event and the launch was broadcast online via GOUSA’s Opportunity Report Show with hosts John Paul Moran, Merry Caruso and Chris Bass, and produced by Charles Grillo.
