While we’re in the process of distributing THOUSANDS of printed copies of the monthly newspaper on the streets, and sending them throughout the state and beyond to our subscribers, we thank you for supporting The Boston Broadside.

Our 2015 Broadside Awards are summarized below:

We praise
those
who took
leadership
positions
fighting
incredible
battles
against
incredible
odds.

These special people, and their
families stood up in many ways: to oppose
an abusive government, to protect the life of an
innocent teenager (Justina Pelletier), to speak up,
reach out to others, and to refuse to ever, ever, ever
back down.
A talk show host who
does more than talk – who
challenges, illuminates,
and inspires; a mother
who championed a ballot
initiative to repeal the
Common Core standards
and return to educational
excellence; a sister,
who along with her
family has suffered at
the callous hands of an
egregious government
and self-serving so-called
professionals – yet keeps
a smile, a cheer, a hug
for her little sister; a
state representative, who
fearlessly and tirelessly
has been the voice of
every hardworking
citizen, even when the
cause may have been
unpopular.
Each, a hero. Each, we are honored to recognize.
