Southie is My Hometown—For Now Despite the Growing Rash of Violence & Vandalism One Determined Resident Won’t Be Going Anywhere Despite Getting a Double Dose of it!

South Boston, MA – In the wake of a string of disturbing incidents in Southie, resident Brian Foley has now become the latest victim of the growing trend of mob violence, during which spectators video rather than help.
Foley was ganged up on in the Burger King parking lot near his home, by nine youths, who were joined by six adults who apparently emboldened the young attackers.
The leader of the pack, who “couldn’t have been more than 16-years-old,” according to the victim, threatened to “shoot me in the back of the head” for carrying Trump flags.
For his freedom of expression, Foley was repeatedly called a “racist” by the angry mob who revealed why they were vehemently anti-Trump.
“He wants to close the border while our people are coming over,” said the gang leader according to Foley. “When our people get here, they will kill you so we can take over.”
One bystander who attempted to intervene in the melee took out his pepper spray. “He maced both the attackers and me,” Foley related. “Then a white guy grabbed me by throat as he told me to walk away, as people shouted that they’re just kids!” According to Foley, despite his pleas for help, bystanders refused to contact authorities immediately, as most of them videotaped the conflict. Tough crowd.
The police arrived before Foley was beaten to a pulp, but not until after one of the perpetrators had already held a blade to his neck. BPD called for an ambulance right away. Foley’s injuries included lacerations on his neck and nose, and multiple contusions.
Despite BPD arriving at the height of what has been classified as a “hate crime,” no immediate arrests have been confirmed.
Foley describes the attackers as “diverse,” emphasizing that the incident was the result of “DEI at work.”
Recently, Foley was also spray painted in the face and sexually assaulted during an altercation with an attacker at a Trump standout in his own neighborhood, across from the Precinct C6 police station. The attacker yelled derogatory homosexual terms as Foley wrestled him to the ground, while attempting to penetrate Foley from behind with his hand. The attacker was arrested and will be back in court on November 21st.
With growing concerns about similar violent incidents Foley is determined to fight against the erosion of not only his beloved South Boston neighborhood, but of all rights, like his 1A freedom of speech.
Ironically, Foley was at the State House the day before the attack, where he joined a contingent representing the100k who are challenging Maura Healey’s unlawful infringement of 2A rights. Foley personally delivered to the Governor’s office, several affidavits that were signed on site, challenging multiple actions, including her failure to prevent a foreign invasion of the Commonwealth. Brian pledges to continue his community activism in support of Trump and our rights, as well as working with his non-profit “Breakfast for Vets.”
“To other Trump campaigners, this latest incident didn’t even happen at a stand out,” emphasizes Foley. “Don’t back down! That is what they want. I will be back out there as soon as my doctor clears it.”
